Shri Channabasaveshwar Gurukul was established in 1992-93 with 40 students and 2 teachers. It was founded by Dr.Basavalinga Pattaddevaru in Hiremathasamsthana Bhalki with only 500/- in his hand. The aim of the school is “Providing a good quality education along with Samskara (combination of traditional, cultural and spiritual skills)”.
We are glad to inform you that, we recently founded “Dr.Channabasaveshwar Gurukul Alumni and Charity Trust”.

Shri Channabasaveshwar Gurukul was established in 1992-93 with 40 students and 2 teachers. It was founded by Dr. Basavalinga Pattaddevaru. in Hiremathasamsthana Bhalki with only 500/- in his hand. The aim of the school is “Providing good quality education along with Samskara (a combination of traditional, cultural, and spiritual skills)”. Later on, it was shifted near Karadyal, which is about a 50-acre vast campus beside Bidar-Bhalki road. Now the campus is shining with 1 to 10th both residential & day school, PU science, D.Ed. & B.Ed. colleges.
The school & colleges in the campus are fully equipped with necessary infrastructures to cater the needs of students. The campus has a fine team of qualified, experienced & dedicated staff members, wide play grounds, a library with huge number of books, Bus facility & 24 hours hospital facility. Today this is the only campus with Orphans care Centre (Anathashrama) in Gulbarga division.
